"Vessels of Glory"

The other morning while I was praying I heard the Lord whisper to my spirit "Vessels of Glory".

I nearly shouted with excitement as I thought of the way God desires to use us, to flow through.

The biblical definition of "vessel" is "something prepared, serving as a reservoir"

The definition of "glory" is multifaceted, meaning "splendor, magnificence and praise from honor"

Did you catch that?

The Lord has prepared you before the beginning of time to be a vessel, a holding tank, for his glory to flow through. For his praise to flow through, for his power to reside in.

The word "glory" is used to describe the power of God that rested in the Ark of the Covenant.

Thankfully we now live in a post-resurrection age and the power of God is no longer contained to rest between two cherubim in an ark, it is now resting in and flowing through his children, His Vessels of Glory!
