Build It.

This morning on our commute my middle son (who is 4) gazed out the window at a partially-constructed bridge. "Where are the people?" He asked. I told Him I wasn't sure, and that maybe they were taking a break for breakfast. He sighed and said "I guess Jesus isn't building it himself, he is letting the men do it."

....

woah.

That echoed in my spirit. Did you catch that?

We are just like Noah. God entrusted Him with a vision and expected him to BUILD.

God doesn't come down and build the things for us, He gives us the vision, He plants the desires within us, He gives us the gifts and callings, and He trusts us to DO SOMETHING with it.

Not to wait on pink pixie dust to fall from the sky, and a Rams horn to blow in the night. He expects us to get moving. Trust the process, Know the author, and go.

So today, whether you are halfway through building, like the construction workers were this morning, or if you're staring at blueprints not knowing where to start, or if you are stuck in the valley of decision know that this is your moment to move.

This is the day to step.

{let's pray}

Dear Jesus, open our eyes to see your vision and plans for our life. Let us grasp the potential you have placed within us and let the fire and zeal burn within us, so much that it propels us forward. Directly into a lost and hurting world, torch bearers in the darkness, all for your Glory. -Amen
