Week 1

My favorite way to get familiar with scripture is to use a concordance. (Don't sweat, if you don't have a hard copy I have linked an app I love below)

This week as we get our feet wet in scripture I want you to take a look at the 23rd Psalm (also linked below). We will park here for a couple weeks as there is much we can glean from this passage.

For starters let's zoom in on verse one.

What is the word used here for "shepherd" ?

Where else is this word used in the Bible, and what is the context?

Why do you think David is using this type of figurative language?

What does this mean to you?

How has God been your Shepherd?
