Week 6

Friends - You did it! The Final week is here and we are going to take it back to where we started our Dig, in Psalms 23.

Let's focus on verse 4.

- Have you ever walked in a dark valley?

- Can you relate to David in this verse?

- Why are we able to not fear in the valley?

- When Jesus is with us in the valley it says he has a rod and a staff. Check out the hyperlink below and wrap your mind around the significance of these two specific things that Lord is trying to show us through symbolism.

- Do you notice that David says the word SHADOW of death. Why is this? I cannot help but think of the way my children are scared of shadows on the wall that appear morphed and bigger than they actually are. And Good news is, all we have to do to remove the shadows is make the light brighter. Whew! That will preach right there..

Take a gander through the rest of Psalms 23, and go ahead and shout! Though the enemy pursues he will not overtake. Through the valley seems dim, the Light of the World is our rescuer! The enemy may not leave, as he loves to taunt the Children of God but the Lord prepares a table full of everything we need in the presence of our enemies! He provides and anoints! Our cups overflow with blessing. He is before us, beside us, and behind us!

Amen!
