Week 4

As we prepare our hearts for Easter, let's dig into a very intentional detail that the Lord shares with us in scripture. Lets dig together....

1. Read the 23rd chapter of Luke (tagged here)

2. Go back and read verses 44-45

3. Read Exodus 26, this is the instruction of the Lord for a Tabernacle.

4. What does the word "tabernacle" mean ? In your own words why did God want there to be a tabernacle built?

5. Notice the detail the Lord is giving to this, remind the enemy in your daily live that God does care about the details, and desires to be involved.

6. Notice Verses 33-35 talk of the curtain that divides.

7. What does the curtain divide?

8. Why is this division necessary?

9. Go back to our reading in Luke and notice how Jesus's death rips the veil

10. Why is this significant?

11. What does this mean for you, and for Christians in general?

Dig, Dig, Dig! And we will chat about it together Thursday evening as I plan to go live.

If this is old news for you, and the Holy Spirit has already revealed this significance to your heart please do some digging into the thief on the cross. Can you find any history about the crimes of the thief on the cross? While people love to shout about the grace of Jesus on the cross to this man (and rightfully so) what should we remember in light of this? What does the Bible teach us about the necessity of Salvation + transformation when we aren't on our death bed?

See you all (virtually) Thursday at 7!
